saddles and rifle

 Killing two birds with one ink pen.  As part of the Center for Visual Arts' "Sketchbook Collective" exhibition, coming up in January, each artist is to submit raw, unfinished sketches that will be pinned to the gallery walls, and add to a group sketchbook that will be raffled off at the reception.

At a recent Randolph Arts Guild Drawing Session, the model decided to wear a suit.  and saddle shoes.  and brought his rifle.

Lucky me, brought the collective sketch book that night and was jonsin' for some pen and ink.

Dipped the pen and the rest is recorded for your viewing pleasure. 

The Sketchbook Collective opening reception is Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, 6p -- 9p and the show runs through Jan. 20.
